NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a 2-day conference here on July 1 on the Centre’s plan to open the cooperative universities for training and research to make cooperatives high-tech with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other modern methods.
NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a 2-day conference here on July 1 on the Centre’s plan to open the cooperative universities for training and research to make cooperatives high-tech with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other modern methods.
The idea is to improve the financial status of villages, farmers and women through cooperatives. The conference is being organised by Indian National Cooperative Sangh whose chairman Chandrapal Yadav said Home Minister Amit Shah will preside over the function.
The conference is aimed at changes in the cooperative law and policies. It will be attended by 25 representatives from 10 countries, including Nepal, Iran, Srilanka, Bangladesh and Malaysia. An exhibition is also planned at the conference venue at the Pragati Maidan here to showcase products of cooperatives and education.
