NEW DELHI: India on Saturday recorded 13,216 Covid-19 infections in 24 hours ending at 8 AM, pushing the tally of the viral disease in the country t 4,32,83,793 whereas the active caseload climbed to the new high of 68,104 with a jump of 5045 in 24 hours.
This is the first time in 113 days that India has recorded over 13,000 cases. Also, there were 10 Covid-19 related deaths in 24 hours, 3 in Maharashtra, 2 in Karnataka, and 1 each in Delhi, Punjab, Meghalaya, UP and Uttarakhand. Besides, Kerala recorded 13 deaths in the previous days. The country’s death toll stood at 5,24,840. Those recovering stood at 4,26,90,845.
