NEW DELHI: The daily Covid-19 infections slipped slightly to 8,084 on Monday with 7 deaths in the past 24 hours, 3 in Delhi, 2 in Maharashtra, and 1 each in Punjab and Mizoram while the health ministry also reported 3 old deaths in Kerala.
The daily positivity rate surged above 3% after four months while the active cases aslo jumped to 47,995.
The total cases of the Covid-19 infections so far stood at 4,32,30,101, though 4,26,57,335 of them recovered while 5,24,771 succumbed to death.
The total vaccinations carried out in the country reached 195.15 core, with 11.79 vaccine doses imparted in 24 hours.
