3 CHIEF GUESTS & 3 SETS OF DEMONS IN DELHI’S MAIN DUSSEHRA

NEW DELHI: Delhi’s grand Dussehra at the iconic Red Fort ground on Wednesday will not see the usual Prime Minister as the chief guest setting afire since the organisers are celebrating it with three chief guests in a row, first President Droupadi Murmu, then Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the last ‘Bahubali’ star Prabhas, and three sets of effigies of the demons are ready for each of them to ignite at different times.

For the last two years, the Dussehra celebrations were in low key because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but the environment-conscious organisers have made it different by not putting crackers in the effigies that are made of grass and paper, though the audience will have the experiences of the crackers bursting from the sound used from the previous functions as that will also ensure the least pollution.
