JALANDHAR : A blood donation camp was organized at Innocent Hearts Multispeciality Hospital under the ‘Disha-an Initiative’ run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust in association with Civil Hospital, Jalandhar. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Chander Bowry (Managing Director – Medical Services, Innocent Hearts Group). In this blood donation camp, the members of the Innocent Hearts Group, teachers, management, students of the college, members of the hospital, the doctors, the Medical Director of the Innocent Hearts Multispeciality Hospital, Dr. Munish Khurana and Cardiologist, Dr. Vivek Rana also contributed to this noble cause by donating blood.
Dr. Anup Bowry, Chairman, Innocent Hearts Group, said that blood donation is a great donation. This is an important part of being involved in social service. It is a matter of pleasure and pride for us to organize this camp. The management of the hospital will continue to organize such blood donation camps in future also. Dr. Chander Bowry said that people have this misconception that blood donation brings weakness in the body. In fact, nothing happens like this, rather it keeps our body healthy. Everyone must keep donating blood time to time. Because your blood donation can prove to be a boon for someone’s life. This blood donation can save many lives.
