NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting on Sept 26, recommended the elevation of Bombay High Court Chief Justice Dipankar Datta (57) as a judge of the Supreme Court.
Justice Datta originally comes from the Calcutta High Court, where he was made a permanent judge in June 2006, and elevated to the Bombay High Court on April 28, 2020.
