ELECTORAL BONDS FROM OCT 1 TO 10

NEW DELHI: The Finance Ministry on Thursday announced the release of the electoral bearer bonds through 19 authorised main branches of the State Bank of India (SBI) from October 1 to 10 for funding the registered political parties that bagged not less thn 1% votes in the last Lok Sabha or Assembly elections.

It said these bonds shall be valid for 15 days from the date of issue and no payment shall be made to any party if the bonds are deposited after the expiry of the validity period.

The SBI Branches from where the bonds can be bought by an individual or incorporated bodies include:

— Delhi main branch at Parliament Street
— Mumbai main branch at Horniman Circle, Fort
— Jaipur main branch at Sanganeri Gate
— Bhopal main branch at TT Nagar
— Panaji branch in case of Goa and Lakshadweep
— Badami Bagh, Srinagar, branch in J&K
— Chandigarh main branch for Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh
— Gandhinagar branch for Gujarat, Dadra & Nagar Haveli nd Daman & Diu
— Raipur main branch at Saistambh Chowk for Chhattisgarh,
— Bhubaneshwar main branch for Odisha, and
— Lucknow main branch in Hazratbanj for Uttar Pradesh.
