NEW DELHI: India on Thursday reported over 1,000 daily Covid-19 cases. It had 1033 infections in 24 hours ending at 24 hours at 8 AM on Thursday as agains 1086 on the previous day.
NEW DELHI: India on Thursday reported over 1,000 daily Covid-19 cases. It had 1033 infections in 24 hours ending at 24 hours at 8 AM on Thursday as agains 1086 on the previous day.
There were also 14 deaths in 24 hours, half of them in Maharashtra, followed by 3 in Kerala and 1 each in Delhi, Karnataka, West Bengal and Tripura. The health ministry’s tally of deaths stood at 43 since it also included 29 in Kerala in the previous days.
The nationwide vaccination stood at 185.20 crore, including 15.37 lakh in the past 24 hours while the active caseload dropped to 11,639. The total fatalities in the country touched 5,21,530.
With the total recoveries of 4,24,98,789, the recovery rate stood at 98.76%, including 1,222 in 24 hours. Daily positivity rate is 0.21% and the weekly rate 0.22%.
