BIZARRE WAY OF MODI GOVT’S SECURITY SYSTEM: JAIRAM RAMESH

NEW DELHI: Congress general secretary and chief spokesman Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday slammed the Modi government’s bizarre security system by deciding to abolish 3,000 Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) posts at the Indian airports and replacing them with the private security.

“But CISF is to protect ‘Hamare do’ and RSS facilities. Private for public assets and public for private entities,” he tweeted, referring to the CISF deployed to protect two top billionaires — Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani. Of course, they pay for their security.

The latest security duty assigned to the CISF from September 1 is at the under-construction RSS headquarters at Keshavkunj here and the Udasin Ashram from where the RSS is currently functioning.
