NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday raided residence and business establishment of Agrasen Gehlot, brother of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
Congress chief spokesman Jairam Ramesh tweeted that “this is vendetta politics beyond all bounds since Ashok Gehlot was at the forefront of the protests in Delhi over the past three days as part of the ‘satyagrah’ by the party, and this is Modi govt’s response! We will not be silenced.”
Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi also tweeted, saying “harassment of Opposition leaders who stand up and speak truth to power has become the hallmark of BJP govt.”
“I stand in solidarity with @ashokgehlot51 ji and his family against this politics of vendetta. Our fight will go on,” he added.
