NEW DELHI: India on Tuesday recorded 11,793 fresh Covid-19 cases which aafre 30.9% less han June’s second highest tally of 17,073 on Monday while 14 passed away due to Covid-19 — the highest 5 in Maharashtra, followed by 3 each in Punjab and Delhi and 1 each in Madhya Pradesh, Utarakhand and MiZoram.
Reconciling the previous 13 deaths in Kerala, the Health Ministry reported a total of 27 deaths in a single day. The country’s death toll went up to 5,25,047 while 4,27,97,092 recovered. The active caseload further jumped to 96,700,
The nationwide vaccination went up to 197.31 crore, with 19.21 vaccine doses given in 24 hours.
