NEW DELHI: The government’s Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) on Thursday warned the users of Google Chrome installed on all Android-based mobiles as also on computers that they are vulnerable to attacks by the hackers if they are using the version prior to 98.0.4664.209.

It warned of a similar vulnerability on Firefox, bypassing security restrictions to leak sensitive information. Providing a solution, the CERT-In has advised Firefox users to upgrade it to OS 101, Firefox Thunderbird 91.10, Firefox ESR 91.10 and Mozilla Firefox 101.

“Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Google Chrome OS which could be exploited by an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the targeted system,” it added.
