NEW DELHI: Jailed Nationalist Congress Party leaders Nawab Malik and Anil Deshmukh in judicial custody on Wednesday moved the Supreme Court to vote in the floor test in the Maharashtra Assembly on Thursday as ordered by the state governor by calling a special session of the House.

The top court was to hear the matter in the evening, along with the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi’s plea against the governor’s snap decision at 5 PM.
