NEW DELHI: The Indian Railways has increased the limit of online booking of the train tickets in a month on the IRCTC website, which was maximum 6 by a person and 12 if the person’s user ID is Aadhaar linked.
Under the new rules released on Monday to facilitate the passengers, the limit is extended to 12 tickets in a month instead of 6 by anybody while the limit is now 24 tickets if the person booking the ticket has an Aadhaar-linked user ID and one of the passengers is verifiable through Aadhaar.
