NEW DELHI: India on Tuesday reported just one Covid-19 death in 24 hours from Uttar Pradesh while fresh infections also dropped to 1247 as against 2683 a day earlier. The active caseload also went up to 11,860.
Delhi reported over 500 fresh Covid-19 cases for the second consecutive day and zero deaths. The active cases in Delhi reached 1,729 and the positivity rate in the national capital was 7.72%.
The recoveries in the country went up to 4,25,11,701 and the deaths reached 5,21,966. daily positivity rate is 0.31% and the weekly rate 0.34%.
The nationwide vaccination touched 186.72 crore, with 16.89 lakh people administered the vaccine doses in the past 24 hours. A total of 83.25 crore people have undergone the Covid tests, 4.01 lakh of them in the last 24 hours.
