NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday wrote to the Rajya Sabha chairman that its 35-year old Punjab MP Raghav Chadha will be the leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha in place of Delhi MP Sanjay Singh. It claimed Sanjay Singh has the “health issues,” though he had to be replaced since currently he is behind ars in the Delhi liquor scam.
Chadha was also suspended from the Rajya Sabha but his suspension was lifted by the Supreme Court. The AAP has the fourth largest strength in Rajya Sabha after the BJP, Congress and Trinamul Congress.
