She had attracted Covid-19 towards the end of May and she was hospitalised in the family’s favorite Sir Gangaram Hospital here on June 2 for a couple of days.
Her interrogations by the Enforcement Directorate were postponed for a couple of days in the National Herald case before she agreed to depose.
The Enforcement Directorate sources said she and Rahul may be called again for interrogations on the basis of new documents recovered from the Young Indian company in the raids on the National Herald office here. The Young Indian office is located in the Herald House and it had bought over the Associated Journals Limited, the publishers of the National Herald and other publications, with the liabilities.
The Enforcement Directorate is trying to build a case of money laundering in the Young Indian with the assets of Rs 50 lakh or so buying up the Associated Journals having assets in crores.
