AYODHYA RAM MANDIR TO BE OPENED ON JAN 14, 2024 TO INFLUENCE LOK SABHA POLLS

NEW DELHI: With an eye on the Lok Sabha elections to influence the Hindu voters, the trust building a grand Ram Mandir at Ayodhya set the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti in 2024 on January 14 to open it for a “darshan” by the devotees to offer prayers to the “Ram Lalla” in the new sanctum sanctorum.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the trust formed at the instance of the Supreme Court’s crucial verdict in favour of the Hindus, had begun the temple’s construction on August 5, 2020, with Prime Minister Modi laying its foundation stone.

In a recent meeting, it also took decisions, including rules and regulations for running the temple. It has estimated to spend Rs 18,000 crore on building the grand temple and develop its surroundings with the facilities for the devotees.

Its general secretary Champat Rai has declared to install the statues of the great personalities nd the saints associated with the Hinduism at the Ram Janmabhoomi Complex.
