NEW DELHI: Th Bharatiya Janata Party may go for early Lok Sabha polls in 2023 along with the Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh as Prime Minister Modi does not want adverse prospects from the impact of the Assemly polls.
Modi is keeping his cards up to himself. The BJP leaders in contact with him say he would not go for early polls before April 2024 unless he stands 100% guaranteed of himself leading the party and winning the polls.
Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda have been told by him to assess the party prospects in holding the Lok Sabha polls along side the Assembly polls.
The party sources, however, say Modi will not go to polls before April 2024 since all is not well right now and unless he is not sure whether again come back to power or not.
