NEW DELHI: India’s Covid-19 infections went up by nearly 30% on Thursday as 2,364 cases were recorded in 24 hours as against 1,829 cases a day earlier. There were also 3 Covid-19 deaths, one each in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka while the Health Ministry also recorded 6 other old cases in Kerala.

There were also 3 Covid-19 deaths, one each in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka while the Health Ministry also recorded 6 other old cases in Kerala.
The nationwide death toll is now 5,24,303 while the active cases slightly fell to 15,419. Delhi recorded zero fatalities and 532 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
The Health Ministry also reported overall 191.79 vaccinations in the country with 13.71 lakh given the vaccine doses in the last 24 hours.
