NEW DELHI: India on Saturday reported drop in the daily Covid-19 cases to 1260 and 7 deaths while the active infections fell to 13,445.
The Health Ministry reported the day’s death toll to 83 by taking into account 76 fatalities in Kerala in the previous days. Kerala reported 3 deaths in 24 hours, Maharashtra 2 and Delhi and Uttar Pradesh 1 each.
Those infected in the country by the Coronavirus totalled 4,30,27,035, though 4,24,92,326 of them recovered while 5,21,264 of them succumbed to death.
The nationwide vaccination touched 184.52 crore, including 18.38 lakh given vaccine doses in the last one day.
The active caseload now stands at 0.03% and the recovery rate 98.76. Daily positivity rate is 0.24% and the weekly rate 0.23%.
