FIR IN DELHI AGAINST SGPC AMRITSAR

NEW DELHI: A Supreme Court lawyer has filed a complaint with Delhi Police against Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC), Amritar for praising ‘terrorists’ and Sikh terrorist outfit Babbar Khalsa.

“SGPC (Amritsar) shared some tweets praising terrorists, Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and Kulwant Singh, ahso known as Mehenga Singh Babbafr, founder of the terrorist organisation Babbara Khalsa. Both are declared terrorists and terrorist organisation,” complained lawyer Vineet Jindal.

“The SGPC also called them sants of Sikhism. We know they killed thousands of innocent citizens of our country. This act of offence as deliberately and maliciously intended to outrage religious feelings and incited the community against each other,” said the complaint.

“This act attracts offences under Section 153 (wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riots), 295 (defiling place of worship with intent to insult the religion of any class), 505 (publishing or circulating any statement, rumours or report) 34 (common intention of IPC and Section 67 of IT Acty, ” said the complaint urging to register an FIR against the officials of SGPC, Amritsara and take strict action against them.
