NEW DELHI: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi slammed the Modi government on Facebook, noting that “Indian families are suffering from the onslaught of inflation and job loss and earning less per capita than they were two years ago!”Their per capita income at the constant prices was Rs 94,270 a year in 2019-2020. It has dropped to Rs 91,491 a year in 2021-22, he noted.

“India’s economic slowdown is pronounced, and the BJP Govt, which suffers from policy bankruptcy, has no answers,” Rahul said adding that “the economic situation will only get worse!”
