NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha Opposition leader Mallikarjun Kharge(80) was still not free from the interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday even beyond 8 PM, unmindful of his age.
In a tweet at 8.17 PM, Congress chief spokesman Jairam Ramesh tweeted that Kharge had reached the ED headquarters for interrogations in the National Herald case at 12.30 pm. He was supposed to be hosting a dinner for common opposition candidate Margaret Alva for Vice-president’s election at 7.30 PM but he is still with ED.
This is a height of political vendetta by Modi Sarkar, he added.
