MODI IN AUSTRALIA FOR A LITHIUM MINE DEAL

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 3-nation tour includes Australia where is is going to seal a deal with the Australia government to buy one Lithium mine for an Indian businessman, who is not likely to be Gautam Adani.

This mine is located in Western Australia. Lithium is needed for the mobile and car batteries. India has also recently located the Lithium mines in Jammu region and Rajasthan, but they are still in the exploration stage and not ready for production.
