New Delhi There was not a single Covid-19 death in India in the past 24 hours ending 8 AM on Tuesday, even though the Health Ministry counted 31 deaths in the previous days in Kerala.
The Covid-19 infections also fell below 2,000 after five days to 1,675, though there was a small jump of 9 active cases to record 14,841 cases on Tuesday.
So far 5,24,490 people have succumbed to death from Covid-19 virus as against 4,31,40,068 infected in the country, though 4,26,00,737 recovered from the diease.
With 13.76 lakh taking the Covid-19 vaccines in the past 24 hours ending at 7 AM, as many as 192.52 crore have been vaccinated across the country. The national positivity rate is down to 2.69%.
