NEW DELHI: Amid speculation over Rajasthan Congress leader Sachin Pilot’s next move, sources close to him on Tuesday said he was firm on his demands, including action against the alleged corruptuion during the previous BJP government and he was waiting for a definite response from the paraty high command.
Besides, he was also waiting for the government take action on issues of the youth such as those related to the government recruitment examination paper leaks.
Sources close to him said the meeting Chief Minister Gehlot and Pilot with party chief Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi last week did not result in any resolution of the core issues between the two Rajasthan bigwigs sincee the paarty formed the government in 2018 and the leadership is seeking to broker peace between the two.
There is intense speculation that Pilot may give a clear indication on his way forward on June 11 when he marks his father’s death anniversary in Dausa.
Preparataions for Dausa meet, an annual function, is in full swing under the supervision of Agricultural Marketing Minister Murari Lal Meena who is known to be close to Pilot.
On Tuesday, Meena told reporters that he has no idea from where the speculation of the new party started as he does not see any substance in it since he is following he Congress ideology.
