NEW DELHI: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi deserves a gold medal for helping his industrialist friend Gautam Advani rise from 608th position in 2014 to be No 2 in the world’s richest list in 2023.
“India is a case study on government-business tango. The world should study India. Harvard business school should study,” Rahul said while participating in a debate in the Lok Sabha on the motion of thanks to the President for her address to the joint session of Parliament.
During his Bharat Jodo Yatra, he said everyone asked him about the success of Gautam Adani and why he never failed in any business he ventured. He told them that Adani’s success is because of PM Modi promoting him in India as also abroad.
