RAHUL: WHY THIRD LANDING OF DRUGS AT ADANIS’ MUDRA PORT IN GUJARAT

NEW DELHI: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday tweeted why illicit drugs landed at Adanis’ Mundra Port for the third time in a year.

The first was the biggest seizure of 3,000 kg worth Rs 21,000 in September last year, 56 kg worth Rs 500 crore worth Rs 500 crore and again 75 kg worth Rs 375 crore. Rahul asked who are those sitting in the so-called double engine government who are regularly giving protection to the drug and liquor mafia, pushing the youth into addiction.

He wanted to know why the drugs are smuggled into the country from the same Mundra Port despite seizures three times. Has the law and order collapsed in Guharat or the Mafia is afraid of the law or is it a government of the Mafia, Rahul asked.

His sister and AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wondered the silence in the media and no action by the government agencies in this smuggling of the drugs worth Rs 22,000 crore.

She said the Mafia is selling the drugs across the country under the very nose of the BJP government. Helpless is the law and order machinery or is the government involved in the conspiracy with the Mafia, Priyanka asked.
