NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) opposed re-examination of the civil services mains exam as an extra attempt, asserting that it will have cascading effects on the schedules of other ongoing examinations.
In an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court, it said the petition is without merit. It also said accommodating such requests will lead to a chaotic situation where no examination can be completed on schedule.
