NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Modi had said in Parliament that he “one alone” is enough for all, then why did he need 29-30 parties, asked Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday.

He was responding to the BJP assembling 30 parties in Delhi Tuesday evening to counter the gathering of the opposition parties in Bengaluru for giving Modi a fight in the Lok Sabha elections.

Kharge said the opposition alliance work together in Parliament. “Their only aid is to threaten the Opposition with misuse of agencies to destroy democracy.”

He declared: “We are fearless. We will face their conspiracies firmly and will raise the voice of the people.”

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi tweeted that the cooking gas cylinder price is now R 1100. Why PM Modi does not speak now about the gas cylinder, he asked.
