NEW DELHI: The President on Thursday signed an order appointing 12 new judges of the High Courts and transferring 6 other judges, says a Rashtrapati Bhawan communique.
Seven judicial officers of Bihar have been promoted as the judges of the Patna High Court and an advocate, Wasim Sadiq Nargal, made an additional judge there while four additional judges have been promoted as judges in the Kerala High Court.
The transferred judges are Justices Dhiraj Singh Thakur from J&K High Court to Bombay HC, Purushaindra Kumar Kaur from Madhya Pradesh to Delhi High Court, Chitta Ranjan Dash from Orissa to Calcutta, Ahsanuddin Amanullah from Andhra Pradesh to Patna, Subhasis Talaptra from Tripura to Orissa, and Lanusungkum Jamir from Mahipur to Gauhati HC.
