BJP SPOKESMAN MOUNTS ATTACK ON AAP WITH LETTER FROM TRICKSTER SUKESH

NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s national spokesman Dr Sambit Patra on Tuesday accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal as a party of the fraudsters and recoveries, citing a letter of October 7 to Delhi Lt. Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena by trickster Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

In a press briefing at the party headuarters, he said the trickster, who is lodged in the Tihar Jails in Delhi had in a money laundering case, had disclosed giving Rs 10 crore to AAP as the proection money and another Rs 50 crore to make him a Rajya Sabha member.

He wrote to the Lt Governor that Chandrashekhar and Delhi Minister Satyendra Jain slogging in Tihar jails are good friends and they are pressurising not to make public the money he had given to AAP.

Dr Patra said a government is run in Delhi by a crime syndicate of AAP, one from inside the jail and another from outside.

He said trickster Sukesh has disclosed in his letter to the Lt Governor that he is in friendship with Delhi Minister Satyendra Jain since 2015 and he had then promised to make him an AAP member of the Rajya Sabha. He gave another donation of Rs 50 crore to AAP to establish him as a big leader in South India.

Claiming that then jail minister Jain had visited Tihar many times to meet him and took protection money from him in 2019 to get the basic facilities inside the jail complex. Sukesh claimed he had given Rs 10 crore to AAP through the monthly installments of Rs 2 crore. He also charged Jain of threats issued to him from the Director General of Jails.

He also ridiculed Arvind Kejriwal for the Lt Governor stopping Yoga training in the national capital. He said the reality is that Kejriwal knows only one Yoga Aasan of “corruption Aasan.”
