NEW DELHI: Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate on Friday slammed Madhya Pradesh chief minister and home minister for their silence on a minor girl raped by an autorickshaw driver in the temple town of Ujjain and she roamed almost naked knocking at several doors.

She claimed there was many loopholes in the police investigation and wondered how did this girl reach Ujjain from Satna and why no action was taken eve after her news appeared in the newspapers.
Shrinate also wanted to know why did Ujjain Police not investigate the crime with the criminal tracking network system?
She said the girl’s dialect was Baghelkhand and so why did the Ujjain Police claim she was from Uttar Pradesh?
Shrinate also slammed police for calling the girl mentally disturbed and begger despite the fact that after walking kilometers, she correctly named herself, her father, her grandfather and her village.
