NEW DELHI: India on Monday recorded a dip in the Covid-19 infections to touch 16,678 cases in 24 hours and 10 related deaths — 4 in West Bengal, 2 each in Delhi and Kerala and 1 each in Andhra Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
Reconciling 16 deaths in the past few days in Kerala, the Health Ministry put the death toll at 26. The active caseload went up further to 1,30,713.
The overall infections in the country reached 4,36,22,651 with 5,25,454 succumbing to death and 4,29,33,162 making the recovery.
The nationwide vaccination touched 198.88 crore with as many as 11.44 lakh vaccine doses administered in the past 24 hours.
