NEW DELHI: India on Thursday witnessed the highest jump of 24% in the Covid-19 infections in the past 12 days as the Health Ministry reported 2,628 cases in the country and 5 deaths in the past 24 hours — 4 in Delhi and 1 in Rajasthan. The death count considering past data of Kerala touched 18.
The killer infection has claimed 5,24,525 lives in the country and the active cases shot up to 15,414 while those making the recoveries total 4,26,04,881.
The national vaccination stands at 192.82 crore, with 13,13 lakh given the vaccine doses in 24 hours.
