NEW DELHI: The Centre opted not to issue advertisements in the newspapers on November 14 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, however, remembered him in a tweet from Bali where he has gone for the G20 leaders’ summit: “”On his birth anniversary, tributes to our former PM Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Ji. We also recall his contribution to our nation.”
