NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Monday refused to entertain a plea filed by one Ashutosh for a detailed and impartial probe into the massacre in the Kashmir valleys in 1990s and the resultant exodus of the Hindu Pandits.

The plea was filed by Ashutosh Taploo, whose father was killed in 1990 in then Jammu and Kashmir state by the militants of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF).

A 2-judge Bench of Justices B R Gavai and C T Ravikumar refused to entertain his plea but gave him liberty to take recourse to appropriate remedies in law. “We are not inclined. We have not entertained a similar petition in the past. We are very sorry,” the Court said.
