Successful Entrepreneurs Leave their Comfort Zone, says Rajan Arora

The event “Entrepreneurs are Born or Made” under the “Better Management Series” was organised by Chandigarh Management Association under the leadership of President S Gursimran S Oberoi and Secretary Abhishek Gupta. was delivered. Speaker Rajan Arora, CMD Aplus Foods Ltd , Nawanshahar/ Delhi / Indore and also the Zonal Chairman of Rotary International, Distt 3070 comprising of Punjab , Himachal & J&K , said that the traits are also visible in the individual being risk taking yet not reckless. He highlighted various types of risk which have been taken by budding entrepreneurs.

Mr Rajan Arora,’s entrepreneurial journey started as a founder of A plus brand joined his family business in 1990 and has experienced success and turbulent times as his journey was filled with obstacles & challenges.
Only in two decades, the company was transformed with consistency, perseverance, and persistence, making ASOP India’s biggest supplier of staples to multinational companies like Walmart, Amazon, Metro, Reliance, D mart, Tata, Merico and more.

Mr Rajan emphasised from his immense experience of 32 years that to succeed as an entrepreneur one must be prepared to take calculated risks and keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible. and was of the view that entrepreneurial traits are visible from childhood like preferring for a Rollercoaster to a merry go round .He highlighted risk-taking in entrepreneurship is a process of identifying and evaluating potential opportunities. Mr Arora believes that successful entrepreneurs are moderate risk-takers. They have traits of risk-taking but develop a risk management plan on the side.

At the end of the webinar, Mr Arora concluded his talk by stressing the importance of having a goal, and how essential it is to achieving success and urged the audience to focus on the long-term vision and never give up. It was an inspiring talk from the CMD of Aplus Foods Ltd, and the attendees felt highly motivated and determined to take their entrepreneurial endeavours to the next level.
