In a tweet to understand the Manipur situation, he says Kuki clims to be a minority but are more than 40% in number. They can buy land in the mainlnd Manipur, and the clashes between the two communities began in May when the Meitei community people are not allowed to buy land in the Kuki dominated hill side.
Kukis are given the Scheduled Tribe status and the clash began in Manipur when Meitei demanded the same.
Kuki have militant nature & have been over aggressive with even using arms.
They are also using women to stop Army operations. Last month army released that video as well.
Most of the casualties happened are of Meitei people who are in majority.
