NEW DELHI: India on Friday reported further rise in the Covid-19 infections to 2,710 and active cases to 15,814 and two deaths in the past 24 hours up to 8 AM, 1 each in Delhi and Maharashtra.The health ministry put the deaths at 14, taking into account 12 past deaths in Kerala. The daily rise of the Covid-19 cases is continuing since Wednesday.
As many as 5,24,539 people succumbed to death out of 4,31,47,530 infected with the killer virus, though 4,26,07,177 of them recovered.
The nationwide vaccination touched 192.97 crore, with 14.41 lakh vaccine doses administered in the past 24 hours.
