NEW DELHI: On the anniversary of the “Bharat Chhodo” movement from Gowalia Tank of Bombay (now Mumbai), former Congress President Rahul Gadhi on Monday said that history page cannot be forgotten when Mahatma Gandhi gave the call for “Karo or Maro.”

Paying homage to around 940 people who sacrificed their life on that call of Gandhi, he said in a Facebook post that there is an urgency of another “Karo or Maro” (Do or Die) movement against the dictatorial government to protect India from its clutches.

“Now we will have to speak against injustice. Dictatorship, inflation and unemployment will have to leave India,” he added.
