NEW DELHI: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday tweeted that it is shameful that the families of the victims of the Lakhimpur Kheri massacre of farmers last October have to knock at the door of the Supreme Court.
The onus of responsibility was on the state government, but the ruling BJP put all its might in saving the minister’s son, she said, adding that the farmers will never forget this injustice of the BJP government.
