NEW DELHI: The government letter circulating on WhatsApp raising the Central government employees’ dearness allowance (DA) from 34% to 38% is fake, the Centre clarified, adding that “no such order has been issued.
The denial came on the government’s official Twitter handle: “A #Fake order circulating on #WhatsApp claiming that the additional instalment of DA will be effective from 01.07.2022. Department of Expenditure has not issued any such order.”
