NEW DELHI: After Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Congress general secretary (organisation) down with Covid-19 since Wednesday, her daughter and Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also became a victim of the virus on Friday.
Priyanka herself tweeted that “I’ve tested positive for Covid-19 with mild symptoms. Following all teh protocols, I have quarantined myself at home. I would request those who came in contact with me to take all necessary precautions.”
The Congress said Sonia Gandhi’s condition improved further on Friday, though she still has a mild fever.
