From Our Bureau

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to hold the JEE Main for admissions in IITs and NITs in two phases in April and May, while the JEE-Advance exams will be held either in the last week of June or first week of July.

Its head Vinit Joshi said the registration process will begin in the first week of March. The students can apply for both the sessions. They will get another chance in May after appearing in April.

There is no change in the pattern of the exams to be conducted in 13 languages and the students will have to solve only 75 out of total 90 questions. Also, no negative marking for 15 optional questions.

Last year, the students were given four chances since they could not prepare because of Covid-19 and many state boards also could not conduct the exams on time.
