NEW DELHI: Asserting not to put the students in jeopardy, the Supreme Court on Monday refused to postpone the counselling scheduled for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG 2022) examination.

The top court Bench of Justices D Y Chndrachud and Hima Kohli affirmed orally not to change the counseling slated to start from September 1. Their remarks came on a counsel mentioning the issue of NEET PG, seeking clarity.

The counsel referred to a plea filed by the MBBS graduates challenging the decision of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBE) of not releasing the answer keys and question paper for the exam. Their grievance is that though there are serious mismatches in their NEET-PG 2022 scores, NBE did not grant them the opportunity for re-valuation.
