NEW DELHI: The Congress on Friday exposes the government not able to check 26 of the 65 patrolling points in Ladakh because they have come under China’s control since May 20, 2020.

Congress media chairman Pawan Khera said this disclosure has come in a research paper submitted in a meeting of the DGPs and IGs recently in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Officer Ajit Dobhal and several senior officials of the Home Ministry.

Most shocking is that the Indian Army is even preventing the cattle bodies not allowing to go to the area for their animals’ grazing since it will not be liked by the Chinese forces, he said.

He said this is because of Prime Minister Modi’s clean chit to China. He said as many as 20 Indian soldiers sacrificed in Galwan in May 2020, but Modi insulted their sacrifice by giving a clean chit to the Chinese.

Khera asked why the government did not re-established the situation after 17 rounds of the military task force and why its fault in the research paper tabled in the DGP-level conference is not taken care.

He said the government is keeping in dark the Chinese aggresion and so the Congress will again demand a discussion on it in the budget session beginning the next Tuesday.

Modi Govt’s continued denial of Chinese illegal occupation &construction of infrastructure has emboldened China and compromised India’s National Security, he added.
